Origin and nature of the infection

Papilloma or PVI (human papillomavirus infection) refers to infectious viral diseases. It is characterized by the appearance and development of bumps on the skin and mucous membranes, similar to warts on the "leg", sometimes with a broad base. The surface of the neoplasm is irregular, somewhat similar to a miniature cauliflower head.

The color of the papilloma is different: from white to dark brown, and it can appear everywhere: on the face (around the eyes, eyelids), under the arms, in the neck, in the neckline, under the breasts in women.

Often, papillomavirus manifests itself in the mucous membranes of the mouth, pharynx, paranasal sinuses, and even the vocal cords. There are cases in which the IVP was found in the gastric mucosa, in the bladder, but most of the times it installs itself in Organs genitals. No matter how they ensure that 80% -90% of the world's population is infected with human papillomavirus infection, one cannot ignore its emergence and take no action.

Normally, the immune system enters the battle with this virus first and successfully defeats it, not allowing it to cover the entire body. But at the moment, few can boast of a strong and healthy immune system, so PVI attacks increasingly aggressively.

It is generally accepted that, once in the human body, the papilloma virus accumulates and, under favorable conditions (decreased defenses, stress, and so on), begins to progress.

Promiscuous sex life, bad habits, exposure to stress, prolonged use of drugs, going to public places with high humidity (swimming pools, beaches) only increase the risk of PVI. Infection most often occurs through sexual contact or in the home, there is a high probability of transmission of the virus from a sick mother to a newborn child. The disease itself in an adult manifests itself in 2-3 months.

Why remove papilloma

Some feel that it is not necessary to remove the papilloma. If the formation is benign and not exposed to external factors (eg, a papilloma on the abdomen is constantly rubbed with a belt buckle or a wart on the back of the neck with a belt), then in principle it is not necessary to remove it. However, it is worth remembering the following facts:

  • Unremoved papilloma can become a source of self-infection.
  • Papilloma is a benign formation. However, in a given situation, it can become malignant.
  • You can infect family and friends with the virus through household contact.

So, before thinking about having papilloma removed, think about your health and the health of your loved ones. You can always choose the method of removal and the place where it will be carried out: in a private clinic, in a public clinic or at home.

However, it is not recommended to remove papilloma on the eyelid, face, armpit, neck and other areas of the body with delicate skin.

Papillomas are small, deformed, red or brown skin growths that can be found anywhere on the body (inner thighs, armpits, nose, face, chest, neck, etc. ) at any age. Papillomas can be caused by: changes in hormones during pregnancy, scratches (clothes, jewelry or shaving), heredity, excessive use of steroids, etc. It may itch sometimes, but it doesn't hurt.
